A magnificent mint piece, with beautiful luster throughout.
Coin in NGC slab with very high MS64 grade.
Only two pieces graded higher - rare in this condition!
One of many punctuation variants:
- on the obverse no punctuation after the M and D in the word MDL;
- on the reverse, a colon between the words of the legend, a period separating the date 16 14 and a colon at the end.
Strongly recommended.
Obverse: Rosettes on the sides of the crown, under the crown an inscription in three lines SIG:III:D:G./REX.POL./.MDL.
Reverse: eagle facing left, obverse legend GROSS:REG(h.Pilawa)POLO:16.14:*.
