A specimen mint piece, with beautiful luster throughout.
The most beautiful, in our opinion, representative of this very rare troy from the Olkusz mint.
Type of the coin, stamped from a cylinder, with the mark of Axe - Kasper Rytkier and the royal apple in the shield (the mark of the Olkusz mint).
For the first time in the RDA offer.
A rare, undescribed variant in the Iger catalog:
- on the obverse, under the bust of the king, widely spaced words REX PO, between which two dots;
- on the reverse, no dot after REG.
In the Onebid archive, such a variant occurred only once, in 2014!
A great rarity considering the occurrence and the state of preservation - to the best collections.
Obverse: royal bust in crown and armor, with a tubular orifice seen from above, in the rim a legend with punctuation in the form of dots
SIGIS III D G REX PO M D L;
Reverse: denomination marking -III-, below it the coats of arms of the Crown, Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Snopes of the Vasa dynasty, below them the legend in three in three lines with punctuation in the form of dots GROS ARG/TRIP REG/POLONI/9-2/; date separated by an Axe mark and a royal apple;
