A beautiful mint piece of the well-loved "five" with a view of St. Mary's Church, the historic parish of Gdansk.
One of the rarer items from the Free City of Danzig, hardly available in states higher than 2 for coins struck with regular stamps, almost unavailable in the trade as a "mirror".
Obverse: coat of arms of Danzig supported by lions, in section 5 Gulden;
Reverse: in the linear border a view of the parish church, in the outer border a legend:
Freie Stadt Danzig Funf Gulden 1923;
An item for the finest collections, extremely rare in the trade.
