add Your note
Lot description Show orginal version

A beautiful, classic Viennese product by a well-known goldsmith active between 1886 and 1924.

Items of this type are increasingly rare on the private market, making their appearance at auctions an infrequent occurrence.

On the reverse is the national hallmark for sterling silver (.800) from the Vienna Assay Office used between 1872 and 1922, which narrows the date of the mirror's manufacture to 1886-1922.

Centrally in the medallion engraved Ciołek coat of arms under a crown of nobility.

Patina, tarnish, delicate blemishes of glass.

Preservation condition of the item good.

Silver .800, glass, dimensions 11.5 x 28 cm, total weight 325 g.
