Cast in white metal.
Medal minted on the occasion of the release from prison of the rector of the Gdansk Gymnasium, theologian Egidius Strauch in 1678.
Obverse: bust of the clergyman to the right, in the rim the legend:
AEGIDIUS STRAUCH-S--THE-Doct;
Reverse: in a wreath of flowers a coat of arms, under the wreath the date Nat 1632;
White metal, diameter 46 mm, weight 31.73 g.
