A nice piece of a Toronto ducat with the typical rippling of the disc for coins of the period, minor rim defect.
A variety with a larger numeral 4, not overlapping the angel's head, clearly less common in the trade.
Undescribed in Dutkowski, a hybrid of the SVEC-type reverse and obverse with the larger numeral 4 in the date.
Obverse: in a rope border a cartouche with the city coat of arms supported by an angel, on the sides initials I-I; in the outer border a legend:
-MONETA-AUR CIVIT-THORVNENSIS-1634-;
Reverse: in a rope border, a royal bust wearing a crown with visible five bails decorated with numerous jewels, with five fleurons, with a rim decorated with jewels in a rosette and pearl arrangement, wearing armor with a lined wide lace collar, wearing a cloak, with the Order of the Golden Fleece on a chain with visible 3 chairs; to the right, in the outer border, legend:
-VLA-IIII-D:G-REX-POL-ET-SVEC-M-D-L-R-P-;
Gold, diameter 23 mm, weight 3.44 g.
Definitely recommended!
