The forgery is all the more interesting because it was struck in double weight, as mentioned by Mankowski in his publication.

Obverse: in the pearl rim a half-figure of the king wearing a crown and armor, holding a scepter and a sword handle, in the outer rim a legend:

Reverse: in the pearl rim a crowned eagle with the Batory coat of arms on its breast, in the outer rim legend:
MAG*DVX*LIT*RVS*PRVS*MASO & C*;
