Typical for ducats of this period, traces of bending, which in the case of "soft" coins which gold ducats were, is even the norm.
The 1610 vintage is one of the most interesting in the history of Danzig ducat minting. This is because in this vintage there are a number of varieties that differ significantly from each other in terms of typology. An interesting fact is the use in this vintage - in several variations - in the royal titulature of the title of King of Sweden, which Sigismund III was deprived of in 1599. Despite this, he used it and the powers derived from it, e.g., in carrying out the annexation of Estonian lands to Poland stipulated in the Pacts of Convent. This is the last vintage of ducats with this piece of titularity at Sigismund's, which may be linked to the extinguishing of the conflict with Sweden, which was finally (in this phase) ended by a truce signed a year later in 1611.
The present piece belongs to a later phase of production where the reverse already shows the titulature known, for example, from orts. This phase is due to the change of the mint manager to Daniel Kluwer, who held his office from 1610-1618.
Obverse: in the pearl rim a cartouche with the city coat of arms supported by two lions, above it a three-leaved flower growing from seven-leaved branches on a two-leaved stem, on its sides two dots, in the outer rim a legend beginning with Daniel Kluwer's Bear's Paw sign:

Reverse: in the pearl rim a royal bust wearing a four-cornered crown with a reticulated cap, with numerous jewels on the bails and in the rim, surmounted by a cross, full armor with a visible epaulet decorated with a rope motif and a tubular orifice seen from the side, with a royal mantle imposed on the armor fastened with a jewel, to the right, in the outer rim the legend:
