A beautiful piece.

First vintage of Cracow sixpences in the variety with the date in the rim. Rare type with the Saxon coat of arms in the shield.

Coin from the collection of Dariusz Pączkowski illustrated in his catalog of sixpences published in No. 9 of the Warsaw Numismatic Diary.

Obverse: crowned royal bust, in armor and cloak, with a tubular orifice, to the right, in a pearl border, in the outer border a legend separated by the Sas coat of arms, of the Great Crown Treasurer Nicholas Danilovich:

Reverse: crowned escutcheons with the coats of arms of the Crown, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Snopes coat of arms of the Vasa dynasty, under the crown the denomination mark VI, in the pearl border, in the outer border the legend:
-GROS-ARGE-SEX-REG-POL-1-6-23-;
