A nice, well minted piece. A lot of luster hidden under the age-old patina.

Obverse: royal bust wearing crown, armor, with visible monarch's mantle studded with jewels, with tubular orifice seen from the side, to the right, in the rim legend:
-SIG-III-[]----G-REX-PO-M-D-L-;

Reverse: denomination marking III, below it coats of arms Eagle - of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland, Snop - of the Vasa dynasty and Pogo - of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, below it legend in two lines:
GROS-ARG-/TR-R-PO-97-, below it the coats of arms - Lewart of the Great Crown Treasurer Jan Firlej, between initials I-F, Radwan of the owner of the Bydgoszcz mint Stanisław Cikowski between initials S-C, and the Rose mark of the administrator of the Greater Poland mints Herman Rüdiger between initials H-R; the officials' initials are separated by a dot;
