An excellent mint piece with perfectly preserved details and luster.

A very rare coin in such condition.

Variety with a rosette on the mint mark.

Obverse: coat of arms of Gdansk in a cartouche supported by two lions, in the rim, at the base of the console initials of the mintmaster Samuel Berman, in the outer rim a legend beginning with the mintmark:
COIN*CIVIT:GEDANENSIS*1618*;

Reverse: bust of Sigismund III Vasa wearing a crown to the right, with the Order of the Golden Fleece on a chain of 6 flintlocks, wearing armor and a cloak studded with jewels, in the chainmail, in the outer rim a legend:
*SIGIS:III-D:G:REX-POL:M:D:L-R:PRVS+;
