An exquisite mint piece with strong luster throughout.
The excellent minting quality is evidenced by the fully legible initials SA and the date of issue located at the bottom of the reverse.
Coin in NGC slab with high MS63 grade.
Rare in this state of preservation.

Bust variant with orifice.
Obverse obverse legend ending with colon and rosette.

Definitely for the best collections.

Obverse: coat of arms of Gdansk in a cartouche supported by two lions, in a rope border, in the rim a legend beginning with a shield with a bear paw sign and a mint mark: COIN-CIVIT:GEDANENSIS-1616+

Reverse: bust of Sigismund III Vasa wearing a crown to the right, with the Order of the Golden Fleece on a chain of 5 flints, wearing armor and cloak studded with jewels, with a tubular orifice, in a corded border, in the border a legend beginning with the mint mark: SIGIS:III-D:G:REX-POL:M:D:L:R:PRVS:*.
