Obverse: in the rope rim the eagle of the Russian Empire of the 1830 pattern, on the sides of the tail the initials КБ, in the outer rim information about the minting order:
ЧИСТАГО СЕРЕБРА 2 ЗОЛОТНИКА 10 1/2 ДОЛЕЙ;

Reverse: in a laurel and oak wreath crowned inscription:
МОНЕТА/ПОЛТИНА/1845/С.П.Б.;
