Extremely rare and sought-after reverse type with SOL walking left and ORIENS AVG legend from Siscia mint. The God SOL was abundantly present in Probus' coinage however he is usually depicted in a quadriga (lefr or central) with SOLI INVICTO legend.
Scarce bust variant with wide (instead of joined as usual) wreath ties of the corona radiata.
This particular variant with cuirassed bust and wide wreth ties is an unpublished unicum, unlisted by Alfoldi!
