A rare type of coin.
Image of a clergyman interpreted by Boris Pashkevich as a representation of Saint Stephen.
Cracow (or Sandomierz) issue of 1230-40, before the Mongol invasion of 1241.

Very nicely minted and preserved numismat, with mint luster, charming patina, imperfections of the disc.
For the best collections - definitely recommended.

obverse: under the triangular half-stance in front, with raised hands (in a prayer gesture)
