Lot description Show orginal version
Grade: VF+
Reference: Kopicki -, Paszkiewicz -

A rare issue attributed to Kuyavia, most likely modeled on an issue of the Teutonic Order, but different iconographically.
Interesting representation, where the knight holds two important attributes - a cross as a symbol of Christianity and a gonfanon as a sign of statehood.

Obverse: a knight in a tapering escutcheon, standing straight ahead, holding a gonfanon on a long spar and a cross;

17 mm in diameter, weight 0.17 g.
