Piece with superbly preserved details, with a sheet flaw near the rim.

A very rare and sought-after vintage, belonging to one of the most distinctive issues of Jan Kazimierz.

In Shatalin's catalog the variety appreciated with the highest of rarity grades for this type - R6.

Obverse: bust of the ruler in a laurel wreath, to the right, in the rim the legend:
IOAN CAS:D:G:P-OL-& SVEC:REX-;

Reverse: crowned five-field escutcheon with the coats of arms of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Svec:Vasa, on its sides the initials C-G and the denomination marking 1-8, in the rim the legend punctuated by the Wieniawa coat of arms:
