Denomination introduced by the reform of January 11, 1924. Coin minted to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the January Uprising under a decree of the Treasury Minister of October 30, 1933. Coin minted only in the months of November and December 1933. Remaining in circulation until November 1939
The coin was minted in Warsaw in an edition of 300,000 pieces.
Obverse: state eagle of 1927 design, in the rim an inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 10 ZŁOTYCH 10, under the eagle's paw the Kościesza coat of arms - the mark of the State Mint in Warsaw;
Reverse: bust of Romuald Traugutt ¾ straight, in the rim legend: ROMUALD TRAUGUTT 1863-1933, to the left of the bust initials of the designer ZTK;
Edge: serrated
