A beautiful circular piece.

Very rare item in such good condition.

Perfectly preserved luster and details.

Obverse: crowned eagle against a background of rays, in the rim the legend: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 10 ZŁOTYCH 10, under the eagle's tail the year.
Reverse: bust of Marshal Pilsudski to the left, in front of it the Kościesza coat of arms - the mark of the State Mint in Warsaw, on the right the year 1934. On the shoulder the inscription St Ostrowski.

Diameter: 34.0 mm; weight: 22.0 g; alloy: .750 sterling silver; border: serrated

The denomination introduced by the January 11, 1924 reform minted in this design since 1934. According to the Presidential Decree of August 27, 1932, these coins could be used to pay debts up to a maximum of 1,000 zlotys. The coin remained in circulation until November 1939.

The coin was minted in Warsaw between 1934 and 1939, with the lowest mintage in 1934 (200,000 pieces) and the highest in 1936 (2,130,000 pieces). The 1939 mintage is unknown, but it appears in trade quite often in high states of preservation.
