An exquisite piece, with beautifully preserved mint luster.
Excellent presentation.
Type of coin belonging to the group of Rataji brakteats, introduced into circulation around 1220.
They probably remained in circulation even after the Battle of Legnica (1241), in which Henry the Pious was killed.
The offered piece depicts the figure of the saint in a halo with his hands raised in front of him.
A rare coin in this state of preservation, worthy of recommendation for the best collections!
