A very nice piece of Saxon thaler minted in Dresden.
Well preserved details, quite sharp relief, fine uneven patina.
A visually pleasing thaler.
Obverse: half-figure of the ruler in armor, holding a helmet and sword, to the right, in the outer rim the legend:

Reverse: in the pearl rim a fourteenth-field shield topped with crest jewels, on its sides initials H-I, in the outer rim legend:
