A nicely preserved coin issued by the Prussians, following the occupation of Saxony by Frederick the Great, during the Seven Years' War.

Smoothing background.

Obverse: royal bust with armor and cloak decorated in a delicate motif, with the Order of the Golden Fleece on his chest, to the right, surrounded by a legend:
D:G:FRID:AUGUST:REX POL:D:S:I:C:M:A:& W:;

Reverse: crowned coat-of-arms cartouche decorated with labrys, below the cartouche the initials IDB of the Dresden mincmaster, below DER SEEGEN DES BERGBAUES, in the rim legend:
SAC:ROM:IMP:ARCHIM: ET ELECTOR.1757;

Silver, diameter 45 mm, weight 29.09 g.
