The last vintage of Danzig sixpences minted during the reign of August III Sas.
The piece on offer, is a variety with the date placed under the coat of arms of Danzig supported by lions separated by the letter E derived from the initials of Rudolf Ernest Oeckerman, manager of the Danzig mint.
Obverse: coat of arms of Gdansk supported by lions, above it a wreath and the denomination marking VI, at the bottom the initials R E OE and the year 17-63, in the rim the legend:
MON.ARGENT.CIVIT:GEDAN:;
Reverse: royal bust wearing crown, armor and cloak, to the right, surrounded by legend :
