A very nice example of one of the more impressive Prussian issues.

Well-preserved mint luster peeking out from under the patina of the old collection.

Obverse: the ruler's head to the right, below it the mint mark A, in the rim the legend:
FRIEDR.WILHELM III KOENIG V.PREUSSEN;

Reverse: crowned and banded with the order of the fourteen-field shield of arms, in the rim legend:
2 THALER VII EINE-F.MARK 3 1/2 GULDEN/VEREINS 18-40 MUNZE;
