A very interesting item being a print in silver of the goldgulden stamps of Frederick the Old and Sigismund.
An uncommon coin in the trade, unknown to us from auction listings or descriptions in the literature.
Obverse: in the pearl rim St. John the Baptist standing in water, in the outer rim the legend:
FRID:7:SIGISM-MARCh:BRAND;
Reverse: in the pearl rim a cross with beams ending in lilies, between its arms a shield of arms, in the outer rim legend:
+MONETA:NOVA:AVR:SWOBACH;
An item definitely worth recommending.
Silver, diameter 24.4 mm, weight 2.05 g.
