A rare item in the trade. A coin from the famous Chominski collection sold in 1932 (the catalog for this auction is available on our auction under item 738), sold by ANMN in 2016.

A beautifully preserved piece in an aged patina.

Obverse: royal bust wearing crown, armor and cloak pinned with brooch, in the rim legend:
D.G-AVGVSTVS III-REX POLONIARUM-;

Reverse: crowned five-field escutcheon with the coats of arms of the Crown, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Wettin coat of arms surmounted by the Elector's mitre, banded from below with a palm wreath, under the escutcheon the initials EDC, in the rim legend:
