A beautiful above average piece with very well preserved details.

Particularly pleasing to the eye obverse with excellent representation of the ruler.

Variant with a trifoliate in the reverse legend denoting the Copenhagen mint and Nicolaus Schwabe.

Type I with a half-figure in a rope border, with an oval shield and dividing legend VAN/DA-GO/TO.

Obverse: in the corded rim a half-figure of the ruler wearing a crown and armor, with a tubular orifice, to the right, in the outer rim the legend:
CHRISTIANUS IIII D G DANI 1616;

Reverse: in the pearl rim a shield with the coat of arms of Denmark on a beam, above it the legend: *I*/MARCK/DANSKE, in outer rim legend started with mint mark:
NORV VAN/DA-GO/TO Q REX;
