A very rare type of Wroclaw denarius from a distinctive issue with the head of St. John and the monogram SI (Sanctus Iohannes) forming a cross.
Issued by Boleslaw the Wry-mouthed as Silesian prince, dated 1097-1107.
Rare variant of the obverse stamp with the legend IOHHANIZL, on the reverse BOLEZLAI - clockwise.

A beautiful mint piece, great freshness of the sheet, even centric minting.
One of the prettiest pieces of this type on the collector's market.
Coin in NGC slab with very high grade for this type of denarius.
