A rare representative of the denarii of Boleslaw II the Bold, minted in 1076-1079.
Its character is emphasized by the crown on the monarch's head.
A very attractive, well struck piece, in a charming multicolored patina.
Minor surface imperfections on the obverse.
Definitely recommended.
Obverse: Bust of the ruler to the left, wearing a crown, with a raised sword, on the back the letter Z above which a small cross.
Reverse: Gate with three towers topped with spherical domes.
