The oldest type of denarius of Boleslaw the Curly, with the head of St. Adalbert on the reverse.
According to Stanislaw Suchodolski, the choice of St. Adalbert was a manifestation that it was the saint himself who sanctioned the seizure of power.
Variant of the stamp with two dots over the head of the prince on the obverse.

Mint piece, sharp relief, luster and fine patina.
