A very nicely preserved item.
A token issued by the highest margrave of Bohemia dated 1618-20 most likely on the occasion of a wedding.
A very rare item in contrast to the token dated 1619 practically unknown in the trade.
The token is historically linked by the issuer to the Thirty Years' War, where after the Czechs lost, the Boguchwała estate was taken over for nothing by Albrecht von Wallenstein.
Obverse: in the linear border the Boguchwała coat of arms, in the outer border the legend:
BOHUCHVAL-BERKA-Z-DVBV-A-LIPP-NA-BIE;
Reverse: in the linear rim the spouse's coat of arms, in the outer rim the legend:
MANIDALENA-KATERZ-Z-CHLVMV-A-KOSSVMBERKA;
Copper, diameter 23 mm, weight 3.16 g.
