A nice pocket watch in silver made in the Prussian partition.
On the back of the envelope the motif of the three-field coat of arms of the January Uprising with the motto GOD SAVE POLAND.
A pleasant relic from the genre of Polish patriotism typical of the post-Uprising era. Watches of this type were made in all partitions, in base metal, silver and even gold with various motifs on the back.
Mechanism in working order, ten-ruby. The dial in very good condition. Rear envelope hallmarked with .800 silver from Germany after 1886.
