A nice pocket watch in silver made by a well-known Danzig watchmaker.
On the back envelope the motif of the crowned Virgin Mary.
A pleasant relic from the genre of Polish patriotism typical of the post-Uprising era. Watches of this type were made in all partitions, in base metal, silver and even gold with various motifs on the back.
Mechanism inoperative. The dial in very good condition. Rear envelope hallmarked with .800 silver from Germany after 1886.
