A nicely preserved piece.

Interesting type with no attachment marks, clearly intended for sewing.

An identically made piece with the crown subtracted is shown in Zawistowski's catalog.

Description: eagle with wings raised, head heraldically to the right, crowned with a crown, sitting on an amazon shield with 16 nails nailed on the lower trail, resting its talons on the upper trail;

Preservation condition of the object good.

Brass, dimensions 40 x 29 mm.
