Description of the deed (original spelling): He took an active part in the action against the Bolsheviks near the villages of: Latyczów, Wójtowce, Deraźno, Komarowce, Rusk and Toporów. He particularly distinguished himself at Ruda Brodzka where, with a bold attack, encouraging his colleagues, he struck at the enemy who, under the pressure of the same, was forced to retreat.
